1. The Color PURPLE: This years color palette will showcase a variety of this hue. From royal to plum, lavender and mauve. Designers suggest mixing it with olive green, sage, emerald and latte for a bold, vibrant feel.
2. Decor: Vintage, Electric and Ethnic. The look and feel for 2008 has an Old Hollywood feel. Romance, vintage chandeliers,flowing fabrics, rhinestones, geometric shapes and shiny metallics. Look for other trends such as hand beaded fabrics, sari looks and ethnic food choices for a more diverse look.
3. Bridal Wear: In keeping with the old Hollywood feel, you can expect to see halter necklines, ruffled dresses, caplet sleeves, waves in the hair, rhinestones and dangling earings, to mention a few…
4. Eco friendly and Organic Weddings: Many couples are seeking vendors who offer environmental friendly choices from pesticide free flowers, organic menu selections, and natural fabrics and card stock choices for their stationery. I had the opportunity to go and check it out and I was very impressed. I love the idea that couples can go in and walk around her studio and touch and feel the products she has to offer. By doing so, it will give you a better sense of how your ceremony and reception will look, which in turn, will give you some peace of mind on the actual day.
Kim and her team will work with you to help you define your ideas and unique wedding style. She also offers you the choice of using her team to set up and tear down, or renting the products and doing it yourself. This is a great option especially if you have a budget to consider.
